Yeah, platitudes and all that.

Resolutions seem fun, actually... I don't want to cut sweets out of my life though, and exercise is mandatory in high school.

What are good ones to make besides those two?

for you, i'd say like... "i'll get good grades in school" or "i'll make lots of friends"
i'd also suggest adding the search for part-time jobs onto your list of resolutions
but i don't think you're old enough for that yet
