He brought me food and asked me about being in a... squad and what it was like? He had a very soft, polite voice.

I could tell that Yagen-me didn't mind as a whole and liked the experience, but there were two always arguing on the team and it annoyed the shit out of him.

He hid away for peace and quiet. Also because he was a little upset.

i hope i wasn't one of those teammates — but i also don't remember doing a lot of arguing... far more pranking, actually

Probably not you, but even if they were annoying to me, I'd want to remember them. You were pretty easygoing if my remembered feelings serve me right, Tonbokiri was like...

How do people like that exist?

yup, that still sounds like me. as for tonbokiri... i remember his name, but not his personality :(
when you say that, do you mean "people" as in the annoying ones that argued all the time, or tonbokiri?

I'll probably remember them with time, but for now, I don't even know their names.

I'm referring to Tonbokiri. He looks and dresses like that

But he was a simple man, and had a gentle way of talking when it wasn't fighting. My memory was him trying to save a man from bleeding to death...
